The chocolate cookie sandwiches are amazing! Jack’s Java also sells coffee beans in eight different flavors. The staff can also grind the beans for you. The owner is very friendly and she really cares about fast, efficient customer service. The café is located inside Jack Jones Flowers & Gifts.
Sweet Jordan’s
Sweet Jordan’s has a touching story. The owner, Jordan, is an amazing baker with Down Syndrome. Most of his “special team members” are people with disabilities as well. The menu offers Jordan’s signature coffee-based drinks like Fireside, with toasted marshmallows, and Salty Snowman, with salted caramel.
You’ll also find a wide choice of fruit smoothies. The bakery offers fresh cinnamon rolls, bagels, muffins, and savory puff pastries. Homemade ice cream is available as well. The seating area is quiet and cozy, and there is a large playground for kids. Sweet Jordan’s offers delivery.
Higher Ground Coffee Company
Located in the nearby town of Union City, Higher Ground Coffee Company has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. All coffee-based drinks are hand-crafted with freshly-brewed coffee. You can choose soy or almond milk if you want to avoid dairy products. For lunch, there is a variety of sandwiches with chicken salad, smoked ham, roast beef, or turkey.
