Take Me Back Cafe There's no place in town that does breakfast like Take Me Back Cafe, and they do it all day, every day, from 7am. If you're hungry in the morning, drive over to this little breakfast spot at 300 West Wood Street, and you'll quickly be in awe by the size of their menu and the generous portions! Whether you get a breakfast sandwich, full breakfast plate, or even a few small bites, you certainly won't leave this diner with an empty stomach. If you want a big, filling breakfast, we can recommend their special breakfast plate with eggs, sausage patties, sausage links, bacon, a choice of breakfast sides, and biscuits. 2. Jack's Java Urban Cafe Jack's Java is your quintessential small-town coffee shop right off Main Street, and boy do they do breakfasts well! Over on 210 North Poplar Street, this cafe is known not only for delicious breakfast and coffee, but as a relaxing place to hang out downtown and take your time starting the morning. If you like the idea of a small, sweet breakfast, savor one of their freshly baked cinnamon buns, muffins, or cornbread. Or, if you're more hungry, grab a bagel or breakfast sandwich and sip a freshly-brewed latte with whipped cream to go with it. 3. Sweet Jordan's It might be a bit hard to find this cute little cafe as it's located a bit out of town at 849 Volunteer Drive, those in the know are in for a real treat here! If you're looking for some small, sweet, freshly baked breakfast goodies, there's no better spot in town than Sweet Jordan's. Their signature products are cookies, baked fresh every morning with locally sourced flour, milk, and butter. Have a few cookies on the side while you munch on one of their delicious breakfast bagels, scones, puff pastries, or breakfast sandwiches. Breakfast is one of those things you just need to get right in the morning without thinking about it if you want your day to go as planned. And so too is your morning drive; the last thing you want to wake up to in the morning on the way to work is car troubles! There's nothing better than a sandwich for a quick lunch or a filling, hearty dinner. At least that's what we think, and there's something satisfying about being able to eat a meal in your Toyota Corolla on the road without needing utensils. When we want something delicious layered in bread, we visit one of these great sandwich places near Paris, TN. Three Great Sandwich Places Near Paris, TN Sweet Jordan's You'll find this place at 849 Volunteer Drive, and they open at 10AM. They close at 7PM on weeknights and at 9PM on Friday and Saturday. They are closed on Sundays. This is an amazing place for baked goods of all kinds, soup, homemade ice cream, and, of course, sandwiches. If you're in there early, you can get great breakfast sandwiches that come with egg and cheese on a croissant, with your choice of ham or bacon. These are made to order and always hot and delicious. You can get the same on a waffle if you prefer. For lunch and dinner, get their tuna croissant sandwich, a delicious grilled cheese that comes with bacon, or their filling chicken salad sandwich. Trolinger's Trolinger's has been in operation since 1917, and you'll find them at 2305 E Wood St. They are a barbeque place, but they do absolutely amazing deli sandwiches. This is also a great place to chill, with nice staff and a good atmosphere. There's a good beer selection, too. If you enjoy one, though, be sure to drink responsibly and never drink and drive. They, too, have some really amazing breakfast sandwiches, which is good, as they open at 7AM on weekdays and 9AM on weekends. The breakfast sandwiches come with home-smoked meats, including hams, sausages, and bacons. Trolinger's close at 6PM, and if you're going for lunch or dinner, we highly recommend you try their Blazing Saddle, which is cajun roast beef and turkey with habanero cheese and hot sauce on wheat. Their Humdinger is also great, with roast beef, turkey, and really sharp cheddar. Uncle Billy's Downtown Eatery Uncle Billy's looks like a hole in the wall, but it eats like the finest homecooked food you've ever had. You'll find them at 200 S Market St, open just for lunch from 10:30 until 2:30 on weekdays. It's super clean, has great food at a good price, and the staff will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of your needs. We suggest the BLT, which is crisp and delicious, the chicken salad sandwiches, which is so big one person may struggle to eat it all, and the toasted turkey. We also love the grilled cheese, and the Reuben is spot on. They'll cater events if you need them to, and they have a great potato bar, so get a baked potato to go with your sammy, if you want our advice. You're going to love the food here in Paris. Its signature specialty coffee drinks are Bongo Blend, Caramel Cafe, and Mocha Joe. You'll also find espresso-based drinks with whipped cream, vanilla, honey, caramel, and other ingredients. There are always plenty of freshly-baked treats. The chocolate cookie sandwiches are amazing! Jack's Java also sells coffee beans in eight different flavors. The staff can also grind the beans for you. The owner is very friendly and she really cares about fast, efficient customer service. The café is located inside Jack Jones Flowers & Gifts. Sweet Jordan's Sweet Jordan's has a touching story. The owner, Jordan, is an amazing baker with Down Syndrome. Most of his “special team members'' are people with disabilities as well. The menu offers Jordan's signature coffee-based drinks like Fireside, with toasted marshmallows, and Salty Snowman, with salted caramel. You'll also find a wide choice of fruit smoothies. The bakery offers fresh cinnamon rolls, bagels, muffins, and savory puff pastries. Homemade ice cream is available as well. The seating area is quiet and cozy, and there is a large playground for kids. Sweet Jordan's offers delivery. Higher Ground Coffee Company Located in the nearby town of Union City, Higher Ground Coffee Company has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. All coffee-based drinks are hand-crafted with freshly-brewed coffee. You can choose soy or almond milk if you want to avoid dairy products. For lunch, there is a variety of sandwiches with chicken salad, smoked ham, roast beef, or turkey. You can also build your own sandwich, choosing from many bread types and filling options. Every workday, the coffeehouse offers a different lunch soup. Freshly-baked pastries are always available. The seating area has free Wi-Fi. In the winter, you can even sit by the fireplace! Martin's This café is in the nearby city of Martin. It supports literacy projects in developing countries by donating 10 cents for every cup of coffee. In 2018, Martin's opened a small library in Nepal with the funds collected. On the menu, you'll find sweet treats like blueberry muffins, croissants, biscuits, and scones. For lunch, you can choose sandwiches like The Hamilton, with swiss cheese and homemade mustard, or The Franklin, with smoked turkey.
