The Toyota Tacoma comes in 6 distinct trim levels. These include the SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited and the TRD Pro. All trims come with a 2.7L 4-cylinder engine, while the Limited, TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road models feature a 3.5L V-6 engine upgrade.
Engine
The 2023 Toyota Tacoma comes standard with a 2.7L 4-cylinder engine that is capable of 159 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. The available 3.5L V-6 engine is capable of 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and come with rear-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive is available in select trims.
Performance
